Canada...smallmouth bass....loons...cigars...crown royal... **sigh**
Geez..it sure is hot outside today. It's so hot, my belly botton is sweating!
Mrs. Haywood and I just got back from a little R & R in California. Laguna Beach...Newport Beach...San Diego...LA baby, yeah!!! What a beautiful place.
The people that live there are nuts though. Seven lanes of freeway and everybody drives like the cops are chasing them. Talking on the phone, texting, tweeting, eating, checking their e-mail, putting on makeup, doing a Sudoku...all this while they weave their Beamers and Porsches in and out of crowded traffic lanes at 100 mph!
And motorcycles drivers don't have to change lanes to pass ya either, they just drive between the cars...at 110 mph. It takes the local radio stations 10 minutes to go over all the accidents every time they do a traffic update.
It's expensive there too. $15 a night to park a car at the hotel...$35 entrees for dinner...$7.50 for a beer...$12 to see a movie...Subway doesn't do the two footlongs for $5 there, it'll cost you $8 each Jared.
We purchased two little cones at an ice cream stand in Laguna Beach and it cost $10. Sheesh! Good thing we didn't order sprinkles.
