Emial to KING KONG BUNDY....

So, if you read the previous post regarding Wrestlemania III this makes more sense (not really but whatever).

I was searching on the internet for something dumb to post up here and remembered how my buddy and I had a runnign list of old school wrestlers going. We would call each other and leave these random names on voicemail etc .. and try to out do each other. One of my greatest ones was when I remembered the midget wrestlers in a match from Wrestlemania III (see post below).

So anyway, that gets me to KING KING BUNDY, remember that dude? Man so AWESOME.......................FIIIIIIIIIIVVEEEEEEEEE! hehehehehe

He has an offical website (who doesn't?). and , get this, you can BOOK him for $hit. I sent him an email:

The Great Bundy,
I never thought I would ever be writing an email to King Kong Bundy. WOW!

I was actually looking up a old match from Wrestle mania III and saw your
name. Tons of memories came back for me. You were great. I would love to
find on of your T-shirts, does your nephew (I think it was "nephew") have
any on ebay?

Cut to the chase. I am interested in knowing if you would hang with us at my
bachelor party in Detroit on July 10th. Please provide me info regarding
your booking fees/ etc..

Thank you,
Eric Ferland

Spit on my Keyboard...

So I was typing away the other day and looked down at the spacebar to see four or five little dots of wetness. Thirty seconds prior to that I was yawning and thinking, "Man, the morning is so long, only 10 am. I could have slept another hour.".
Right when I saw the wet dots on the keyboard I knew exaclty what it was and the great skill, although unintentional in this case, required to create them. During my yawn I HAD GLEEKED!!!!
Now, through the ages of 12-15 I had tried every minute of everyday to master the art but failed miserably. It was so cool to watch some unsuspecting kid get hit unknowingly with a stream of spit wheather it was during class or on the stairs or in the hallway.

Those were the days........

I've always liked this one.

They painted up your secrets
With the lies they told to you
And the least they ever gave you
Was the most you ever knew

And I wonder where these dreams go
When the world gets in your way
What's the point in all this screaming
No one's listening anyway

Your voice is small and fading
And you hide in here unknown
And your mother loves your father
'Cause she's got nowhere to go

And she wonders where these dreams go
'Cause the world got in her way
What's the point in ever trying
Nothing's changing anyway

They press their lips against you
And you love the lies they say
And I tried so hard to reach you
But you're falling anyway

And you know I see right through you
When the world gets in your way
What's the point in all this screamin'
You're not listening anyway

so I'm a little behind on paperwork

I've fallen into this nasty habit of just leaving bills and other documents stack up after dealing with them (or not dealing with them as the case may be) The problem is, you can never find anything when you need it. I realize this is a pretty lousy method of organization, and I've actually got file drawers for keeping things in, but the last documents filed were circa 2001. Ouch.

So, I sucked it up yesterday and did a TON of filing. Afterwords, I realized I was still missing most of 2002. A little searching turned up another huge stack of papers buried in a drawer. I assume it's the missing year of my life. I didn't have the heart to file those too. Next weekend maybe.

Holw long am I supposed to keep this crap around for anyway? The next step will be actually balancing my checkbook again......

Some days...

you just feel that itch to get your drink ON. This weekend, it was nice out, I was doing some work in the basement and just having a good day. I got that itch to get drunk, a good kind of drunk, a "Bring in the warm weather drunk".

I did hold back (I didn't have anything at the house). I could have taken a hit off the champagne but then I would have had to kill the bottle.

Oh well, maybe this weekend the "itch" will stop in for a visit again........
