Happy Day for Gumball Lovers
Yes, it is true! The gumball machine has been resurrected!!
Dino got out the tools and some how managed to free not one, but two dimes free! This resulted in a fully functional gumball distrubution :)

Manual Driving
So, I am learning how to drive Jim's Mustang. It's a manual. I've never driven one before and let me say, it's quite interesting. I've had 2 lessons so far.
Day 1: Stalled 3 times. Got going in 1st gear okay.
Day 2: Stalled once. Actually managed to drive around the neighborhood (and one a main road...for a block). Got into 1st and 2nd. Also used reverse and managed to pull out of a parking lot and park on the side of the road.
Now, I know it doesn't sound like much progress, but the lessons aren't very long - 10 minutes maybe. I think I'm progressing quite nicely. Maybe one day I'll even get to drive faster than 35 mph :)
Worst rental car... EVER!
So... the door on my truck is rusting. Its under warranty though, so I take it in. They say they will replace the whole door! Cool! So I work from home one day and they get it done. It looks like crap. So, I go in and bitch a bit and tell them to give me a free rental while they fix it. They say yes.
I think they said yes because they knew that I would have a geo metro for a rental. I should have known I was in trouble when Enterprise asked me if I wanted to upgrade to a focus. UPGRADE to a focus?... it can't be that bad?
It is. Power nothing. It doesn't even have power steering. It has an automatic transmission, but thats it. Oh... and in some quirky twist it somehow has 4 doors. I wish I could drive it from the back seat, for I don't fit too well in the front.

When Appliances FLY???
Half asleep, the alram buzz, buzz, buzz.....gets me out of bed. Stumbling accross the room to the window. It was cold last night so I opened the top part of the window to let the breeze in, it was nice sleeping weather. No need for the window air conditioner that is supported by the bottom window pane. Reaching around the dusty blinds toslide the top window closed in attempt to cut the chilled air from filling the room. Slid wrong PANE........WHOOOOSH...last thing I saw was the prongs on the power chord as it whipped by my leg....

Sad Day for Gumball Lovers
The gumball machine is jammed. I used Mike's "bad omen" dime and it jammed the machine. No more turning going on...
So, the gumballs have moved to their new home: My Easter Basket - this is just until the machine can be repaired. That's not as easy as it sounds though, especially when the thing is glued together instead of screwed.
One more thing...go figure that we just threw the box (and therefore instructions) away yesterday.
a question
If Pringles can manage to deliver almost a whole can of stacked, unbroken chips, why are the bottem few always broken? Is it the crushing pressure applied by the perfect chips above them? I'm not sure if the same problem happens with Torengos. Though, the broken chips do allow you to "drink" them by inverting the can, which might be the coolest way to eat potato chips.

Thank you for being a superb bowler and winning me fancy bowling trophies. It would have been difficult to win the horses ass trophy. The turkey trophy would also suck. Credit must also go to the other two not-sucky bowlers on our team, Deana and Ken. Even though I was clearly the weak link, and have forgotten how to bowl. (Todd's fault) I'm still glad we did well. I'm not sure if John checks this page out or not, but he should.

Morals
So, two days ago I deposit a check into the ATM. For some reason they credit me only part of the check, let's say 100 bucks. So, I called and wondered what the heck happened. They said it was a mistake and that it would be corrected when they actually open the envelope and compare. Today it was corrected, except they credited me the full amount of the check and have yet to debit the "100".............
I will wait.........
