I will admit to being strangely drawn to Katie Brown's television show when there is nothing else on. I don't actually watch it. Just put it on. I don't like the crafts she makes, or the way she decorates, but I think her voice is soothing. She makes me want to fall asleep.

Let's talk peeps

So, the hard peep/soft peep debate has been going on for quite some time. I myself am an advocate of the soft peep. It's just the way nature intended marshmallows to be. Nice and soft and sticky. So, Deana had recently told me of her newfound preference for hard peep. Someone converted her. Coincidently enough, there were two fresh yummy boxes of peeps in the Easter basket she gave me. To my suprise, when I opened the yummy yellow bunny peeps today, they were already of the hard peep variety. This box of yummy purple chicken peeps seems to be even harder. I'm not sure if she is trying to convert me from soft peep to hard peep, or maybe she bought them at a place that only sells hard peeps, but with no apparent damage to the packaging, I suspect fowl play. :)

Pretzels

Pretzels ROCK! I am currently on a pretzel stick kick, although there is nothing wrong with the classic shape.

Surprisingly enough, eating some pretzels has made me feel a little better...they have yet to cure my cough and dizziness, but I am no longer hungry and not so nauseated :)

New NHL Rules and Scoring

1. If a player scores and "pops" the water bottle. 2 points
2. Shots that hit the post are worth .5. Wrap arounds have to hit the far post. Player must be in front on the defenders goal line.
3. Clean body checks are worth .1.
4. if you stay on the ice, while bleeding, you are allowed hand passes in the offensive zone.
5. You can avoid off-sides by "jumping" at the right time.

I just wanted to say, since my team has not.. that we TOTALLY KICKED SOME BOWLING BOOTY!!!! I'm so proud of how great we all did for the first two games and then how Todd got us the win in the third game! Good job! Bowl off here we come!!!!!

Gum Balls

Mike totally bought me a gum ball machine for my birthday! It rocks! As soon as I am able to turn my cam on, we'll get a shot of it. It'll be a couple hours though...I'm working on these huge files and I can only have the bare minimum of programs open :)
