I had it for lunch. It was tasty. But lately I've been having the "eggs are little chicken fetuses" thoughts. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not turning hippie. I still like eggs and chicken. But it creeps me out that all good cake recipies could be translated to : flour,milk,baking powder,dead baby chickens,sugar,pinch of salt. Just odd, that's all I'm sayin.
Just so you know...I do not recommend moving 'Caution...wet floor' signs from one stop to another on the People Mover in Detroit. Those Transit Police just don't have a sense of humor...
Ok, so, when Todd drinks he bowls like shit and it gets worse the more we drink.
Case and point, last night, half pitcher = 155 score, 1.5 pitchers = 96 score, 2.5 pitchers = 118 score...... Last week he didn't drink and he bowled awesome, had like 150's all 2 games.
Since we are on the same team there is an issue. See, I am the oppisite. Case and point, last night, half pitcher = 128 score, 1.5 pitchers = 146 score, 2.5 pitchers = 169 score. Last week I also didn't really drink and I bowled my average.
What are we going to do? I mean if we set thebeer down in front of us, I will ROCK but Todd will fall apart. If we take beer away, Todd will Rock and I will fall apart.
Tuesdays and Thursdays sure seem to be the hot days for posting.

So, I took my car in on Monday to fix the front bumper. I'm told that they will only need it for a day or two. So, I get a rental (TINY little Ford Focus 4 door sedan). The rental smells like smoke - I'm getting used to it, but still...yuck. Not a big deal though for 2 days. Then I get a call from the dealership. My car will be ready at 4:00 m on Friday. Now, I don't see how that is a day or two, but then again, I'm only a Math major - what do I know? So, one more day of the focus and then I can have my car back - I can't wait!
So.. we go to a Taco Bell at 10pm last night after a hard night of moving some crap and are greeted with a hardy "aww shit" at the door. Apparently they are closing, but we made it in just in time to order.
I've heard that the grilled stuffed burrito is now available in fajita style. Why ruin a good thing? I don't know - but we were told that they were "thu bomB mahn".
Somone, KEN, decided that the magic popcorn button on my microwave must be wrong, cause the "popcorn wasn't done." In it goes for 20 more seconds of pop perfection. not. There is nothing worse than burnt popcorn smell. Se we cooked up another bag, and it was decent. I don't have a big bowl. I put it in a colander.
But now, someone here in the office has cooked a bag. Dee says it smells like urine. I think shes right. There must be a "pop secret low fat urine butter" flavor, cause the smell is seriously making me sick right now. I wish I had another 24 oz of coffee. I won't want popcorn for quite a while I'm thinking.
I left Erics nice and early. Skipped an overtime. Skipped South Park and went right to bed. I was supposed to get up early today. I can't fall behind on hours at work. So, what do I get for being responsible? I get woken up by our on-call pager right after I hit deep comfortable sleep.
You know how if somone wakes you up, you could answer a question and fall right back asleep? It's like you never really hit the completley awake threshlold. Our server problems meant I had to get out of bed, log on to computer, etc.... It required me to actually be awake. So of course, falling back asleep becomes an impossibility. Then I'm late for work. Yes, I'm complaining, but that's what this page is for right? The moral of the story.... watch overtime.
Bowling rocks.
I finally have my truck back! Took it in again for a leak that supposedly isn't a leak but I have to keep and eye on - huh? At least I can do my duties driving for bowling. Maybe this will make me bowl better!

Well.. it was a Tuesday, which is a dumb day, so I shouldn't feel bad about not having anything to do. A friend called with an extra ticket to the wings game last night. So I went. Turns out the guy he asked first was laready headed to the game on someone elses dime. The double invite. So I got the call, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th, who knows... who cares? It's always nice.
The tickets turned out to be six rows in front of our regular seats, on the other side of the steps. Basically, If I were me, I could have spilled beer on myself from my normal seat. However, the regular tickets were being used by another friend, who we bumped into at the bar before the game. Hang in there, it gets better.
Double invite friend, happens to have gotten invite #1 from well-off brother-in-law. A couple phone calls later, and guess which scruffy-bearded-long-hair-hat-wearer is up in the level 4 executive suite? You know it! I spent a great deal of the night wondering if I could afford one of these suites myself if I added up all the money I've spent on $7.75 beers over the years. It's possible.
If you care, the wings lost 2-0. Silver lining? They lost to my fantasy hockey goalie.
So, apparently, getting a ticket and 2 points does not raise your car insurance. I was very surprised and so so so happy to find that out. I may still try to fight the points though, I am not sure yet. Now I just need an estimate on my car...
This site is just not what it used to be......
