so.. we drank, some of us more than others, and we golfed and we got sunburned. I got a white hat. Its pretty horrible. Save a screen cap.. cause you'll never see it again. It was a bit of a cluster getting registered. I correctly thought they were only expecting two teams. So we made sure to show up with three. It wasn't the end of the world. They adjusted, and pretended not to be irritated, which was cool of them. I drove pretty decently all day if you care. If you don't, my medium game was crap. There were muffins, and they were tasty. I got a keychain. Someone may have launched themself at a t-shirt. It was a pretty good day. Poo.

Adoption
So I placed my name on a list to adopt a retired Leader Dog for the Blind. They retire them after 5 years or so of service I guess. It takes a few years for your name to come up but by then I may be ready and if not, then I simply pass on it. The dog is totally trained though, how sweet is that. Open the fridge, get me a beer. ROCK!

Thai food for lunch today...it's going to be so good...Plus, it's an excuse to get out of this icebox they call an office. The air was broke all last week. It was so nice and cozy in here. But of course, they had to go fix it, which means it's back to 62 degrees in here. Thai food will make everything better...

MAN WEEK
I am so happy that we are able to experiance yet another week at Twin Oaks Lodge. A week filled with beer, food, fish and bonding.
I am so happy that John Mika will be going for the short week (4 day trip). It just wouldn't have been the same without him there. This is the last year we will probably be able togo also, so it makes it even more special.

That's what they call it. I think it was a misprint. It should have said Bile. I'll admit, I was curious. So when I saw a bottle of the stuff in my parents refrigerator, I figured i'd try it. I should have wondered why it was left there in the first place. Berry Cola Fusion they say. hmmmm. Smells ok, looks very solidly blue (which I have said before is bad, I should have known better) Here goes nothing... IT BURNS!!! I swear. Your nose and throat will be on blue fire. Tastes nothing like Berry, Cola, or Fusion. Then again, it was more of a feel than a taste anyway. We wondered aloud how such a beverage could actually make store shelves. It was decided that someone accidently turned the April batch of Diet Pepsi into this swill and that printing lables and selling it 2/$1.00 was better than throwing it all away. Better for them, yes. Do your innards a favor and stay far, far away from this evil witches brew.

yes... I know it's early. But its been a pretty shit day so far. I'm drinking horrible coffee. A little Jack would go a long way towards making it more palatable, and ease my morning a bit. Where did I leave that flask of mine?

my fruit snacks were no good
This is a tragedy. I think I left them on the stove when I was making a pizza, and they might have melted a bit. The texture was all wrong. To make things worse, not a mario or donkey kong in the whole bag. All stars. I understand how the star applies to the theme, (I do not feel invincable) but still, just one lousy mario next time. There WAS a Link, but he was really creepy and blue. I've grown accoustomed to blue foods. They're everywhere these days. Ketchup, drinks, candies. I continue to be puzzled by the origins of the famed blue raspberry, but I can live with its existance. However, blue little Link heads are unacceptable.
