Evil Robots

I need a break so I'm going to tell you a little story...

So I was at farmer jack last night and grabbed grocery cart. In the bottom of the cart was a coupon. It was for $5! Hmmm... thats a big coupon, but off of what? It was off of that shower robot scrubbing bubbles thing.

So, I was getting some laundry detergent and I saw this robot thing in that isle. It was $20, came with 2 bottles of cleaner and batteries! $15 for a robot that cleans my shower. Heck yea!

So I get this puppy home and check it out. I open it up and read some of the directions. I put in the batteries and clip on the hanger thingee. I did NOT add in the cleanser. I figured I'd give it a go before I hung it up so I could see how it works. No cleanser in there, so it should be safe right? Wrong. Lets just say my living room and I were shower fresh. Apparently they test these things at the factory? Somehow there was some juice in there and it sprayed everywhere. Oh well, lesson learned.

If anyone is interested, my robot (i'm calling it that so it sounds cool) came with a $5 coupon. I can give it to you if you want a robot too :)

I'll report back as to how well it cleans my shower.

Being the resident clean freak, it shouldn't surprise you that I purchased this thing. It was worthless. It doesn't cover every area of the shower, so you have some places getting covered and other building soap scum. I took it back and am just sticking to my usual method to dry the shower after use and the weekly scrubbing of the thing.

anyone remember that scrubbing bubbles comercial from many years ago? the bubbles raced around the tub like nascar to a cool tune. fun.

i like that todd smells "shower fresh." i think i'll stick with just taking a shower to get that way.

give the coupon as a prize at the ALBP tomorrow.

Geez...Could you be any more lazy?

I'll bet you were sitting in your LazyBoy recliner when you tested that robot thing out. Serves you right. Just think of all the sponges and Lysol you could have bought for $15!

Tell you what...I'll send you a coupon for one of those Clappers. I wouldn't want you to pull a muscle lifting your butt out of a chair to turn off the lights....you sloth.

:)
