So, I gave my dog a beef soup bone the other day. Somehow she managed to get an upset stomach from it. She has had em before so I don't quite understand, but I digress.
When I got home there was a smell and she had a "I'm Sorry" look on her face. I let her out and went to hunt down the smell. Of course she went in the only carpeted room in the house. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) she pooped %90 in a shoe. Thats right, soft serve filled shoe. My brand new only wore 2 times shoes. Less poo on the floor though.
After a long carpet cleaning session I decided the shoes were lost (the 2nd shoe had some in it too). Shoe full of poo. Shoes full of something are funny. Do you have any "Shoe full of..." stories? I actually have one more, but I'll post it later.

Second, you still might be able to salvage your shoes. I did a brief investigation and there is an abundance of foot care products on the market today. Perhaps Dr. Scholl's carries a line of "A Dog Takes A Big Dump In Your Shoes" odor fighter inserts.
Good luck.
Posted by: haywood at June 21, 2005 10:27 AMI just read your post again. I see that your dog is a female. What did you do, leave the toilet seat up again?
Posted by: haywood at June 21, 2005 10:44 AMDidn't you hear growing up "Todd James put those damn shoes away!! I am sick and tired of tripping over them!" And learn from it?
it didn't affect me, but maybe someone's mom got their point across.
I know Todd yelled at me to put my shoes away (well not yelled)!! Especially when Duke played with a pair of my gardening shoes. I figured he did me a favor since they had given me blisters a few days before. But I eventually adhered to Todd's words of wisdom.
I have had plenty of dog excrements hit my shoes. Loki liked to mark them after I got Duke. If I had to throw every pair away, I'd have some dogs working at the shoe factory!! Just wash them off.
Anyone ever lose a shoe out the car window? Not that baffles me!
