and ends up walking into a tree?
That's Bugs' fault. Everytime.
Posted by mike at May 19, 2005 02:02 PMEver see a movie or cartoon where someone walks into a pole? Of course you have. Ever see it happen in real life? I have!
Mike and I decided to go to Cold Stone after lunch today. We're walking to the street corner to cross the road and I said, "Hmm...it looks dark - I wonder if they are open yet." Mike turns to look and walks directly into a "No Parking" sign. I kid you not. So amusing. I was crying. I did ask if he okay as soon as I was able to stop laughing. I swear.

Posted by: todd at May 19, 2005 03:00 PMSometimes it's tough to do 2 things at once...you know, walk and turn your head - tough stuff!
:)
Posted by: Dee at May 19, 2005 03:06 PMNot that I have ever walked into anything ;}
~but I would probably have to blame it on bugs too (cuz I can't use the excuse that I'm a guy and can only do one thing at a time!! :D )
I did something like that once in college. I was walking to the on deck circle to get ready to bat as one of my teammates was finishing his warm-up swings. My coach was screaming at me for something I did wrong the inning before and I wasn't paying attention as I bent down to big up a bat. Leaned right into the end of one of my teammate's practice swings....**BONK**!!!
Luckily, this happened in the 70's....the days of wooden bats...so I survived. However, Mrs. Haywood says that if the coach knew me the way she does, he should have been more worried about the damage to the bat.
