Lucky Month So Far!

So far, March has been a lucky month for me and Mike! My car is in the shop getting an oil change and getting the fan fixed (only works on high).

So, Mike had to pick me up at the dealership this morning. We took a different route to the office and stopped at the Dairy Mart for coffee. We decided to get a $2 Super Red Bingo scratch off. Apparently, Mike didn't want this card, but too bad - I was paying!

We get to work and start scratching (the ticket). We end up winning one line on each card!! That totals out to $37! We haven't had this much scratch-off luck ever!

We decide to turn in the ticket after lunch. I say we can't go to 7-Eleven because we never win there. So we decide to go to Tweeny's by the office. We decide to get 2 $2 Bingos and a $5 card and then split the rest of the winnings. While I'm turning in the ticket and Mike is picking out some pop for himself, I decide we also need a $2 Game of Life ticket. How fun is that!?

We get back to the office and start scratching (the tickets). Turns out, we lose on all the stuff we picked out EXCEPT the Game of Life! That one pays out $40! Holy cow! We've now won $77 in one day on scratch-offs! Not bad!

Dear Mike,

If you think I'm a crazy lier, then maybe I won't share my winnings with you anymore!

Love, Dee

P.S. to the IRS,

I don't know anything about any lottery winnings.

Gambling, kidnapping, crazy people -- what exactly do you two do that they pay you for????

Once upon a time, there was a group of fun people and a fun place to work - and there might have been a kidnapping or two (for a ransom of course). How sad that now everyone in that poor group is a prisoner of the McKnob!

Today, however, is my first day on parole! So glad I haven't had to go outside in this weather -I am feeling a bit guilty watching my elderly neighbor snow-blowing though as I type warmly away.

Dear Dee & Mike:

Just wanted to let you guys know I'll be looking closely at Line 21 on each of your Form 1040 Tax Returns next year. Thanks for the "heads up" on your gambling winnings and the nice, clear pictures of each of you found on this sight. Makes it so much easier to find you guys when we schedule the audit. See you next April!!

One Time I won 300 bucks on a 1$ scratchoff. It was the last one in the bin. Taco Bell and Beer for everyone. My buddy was dating this chick that was a manager at the Local Movie Theatre, and on thursday nights all the employees watch the new Friday release - so we had about a hundred bucks in Taco Bell and Bud Light watching Jurassic Park 2. What a blast.

It only took me 8 months to put it together!

I love that game. It's addictive, but I can never find it anymore. I'm green with envy. I'll trade ya two pacman games for it.:D)

Posted by: haywood at March 4, 2005 12:58 PM

Already got a pacman... ya need a better trade than that!

Posted by: todd at March 4, 2005 01:19 PM

Awright....How about a Ms. Pacman, a Golden Tee 2002 Tournament Golf and an autographed rabbit hat. No, wait..... scratch the rabbit hat, that's too valuable.

So, add something else to that GT2k!
