for the semester anyway. The final wasn't too bad. Well, at least I don't think it was. We'll see when he posts our grades. At least I don't have to worry about it anymore though! And, no more getting to work at 6:00 am on Mondays and Wednesdays! That alone is cause for celebration!
Posted by dee at December 9, 2004 08:17 AMThe following comments were actually made by teachers on "Little Haywood's" report cards as he struggled through his early school years:
1. "Haywood is depriving a village somewhere of an idiot."
2. "When Haywood's IQ reaches 50, he should sell."
3. "Haywood's wheel is turning, but the hamster is dead."
4. "If Haywood was any more stupid, he would have to be watered twice a week."
And my personal favorite.....
5. "It's impossible to believe the sperm that created Little Haywood beat out 100,000,000 others."

On a school side note:
Mike and I tried to sell back one of our books last night after the exam. The guy in front of us sells his book and the cashier says, "Feel free to take a candy cane as you leave" or something along those lines. Now it's our turn. She looks up the book and says, "Sorry, it's an old edition." Mike says, "Can we still have a candy cane?" The cashier looks up and says "No." I thought she was kidding, so I smiled a little and she said, "No, you have to have a buy back to get a candy cane. I was told that those were the rules."
You've got to be kidding me! First, you scam me by making me keep this useless book. Then, I technically save you money because you tell me I can't sell it back. And then you grinch me out of a candy cane. It's not even that I wanted the candy cane. It's the lack of holiday spirit that shocks me. Way to be cheery, bookstore girl.
Posted by: Dee at December 9, 2004 10:24 AMGeez....What a Grinch!! I say send her back to Whoville and let them have at her!!!
Posted by: haywood at December 9, 2004 10:54 AMSpeaking of the Grinch.....Where the heck is everyone else? Just because our fearless leader decides to take a sabbatical doesn't mean we have to experience an absence of content! Come on Rabbiteers!!
Posted by: haywood at December 9, 2004 11:54 AMDee, how soon you forget your LTU roots....
Getting jacked on books and having very unfriendly workers was the norm back at that overpriced hell-hole. You should have grabbed a candy cane and thrown it at the idiot for being so rude. Been like, "Rules this, b*tch!"
Posted by: Jeff at December 9, 2004 01:04 PMPlease watch your comments regarding the LTU bookstore - I myself was an employee there for my first year of school (Aug-Apr at least). I was not grinchy.
:)
Posted by: Dee at December 9, 2004 02:34 PMWow, how soon I forget...that's right, you DID work in there. And yes, you were always peachy :)
