I told ya I'd hook you up. Not like you minded bleeding me dry at Pai Gow. Thanks. I owe ya one buddy.
Posted by mike at November 15, 2004 09:59 AMMe too. It was going so well for a while....
Posted by: Dee at November 15, 2004 10:04 AMFirst, congrats, Dee.
Second, who is this dealer guy and what did Mike hook him up with?
Posted by: Jeff at November 15, 2004 12:46 PMWow - congrats Dee!!! Just saw the picture of your ring - how beautiful!
Posted by: val at November 15, 2004 02:46 PMWoo Hoo!!! Congrats on the rock Dee!!! Very nice.
Posted by: haywood at November 15, 2004 03:46 PMThanks guys :)
Posted by: Dee at November 16, 2004 08:30 AMSo, are you actually married and just not telling us? Are you just going to have a big wedding for show but you secretly got hitched in Vegas?
Posted by: eric at November 16, 2004 01:14 PMVal & Pai Gow were not a winning combination for me. Wish Mai would have stuck around. But I learned to Let It Ride and my wallet didn't feel the Pai Gow pinch!
Definitely had better luck in Vegas. 1st day back to work and my hard drive crashed when I booted up this morning. It's great working with such important information and not having any back-up processes in place.
Sure glad I took yesterday off and delayed the agony of returning to work. Sleeping 14 straight hours was certainly needed.
I'll try and get my pictures developed soon -- I think the video of Ken's hidden talent could launch a new career for him!! :)
Posted by: Jodi at November 16, 2004 01:34 PMI think I need to go back to Vegas and get married by Elvis. It appears it would be a ton cheaper that way.
Man, this is hard work...there aren't any days available (church and hall coordinating). All I want is a date...
Posted by: Dee at November 16, 2004 04:22 PMRaised on the east side....Penna's Hall?
Posted by: Jeff at November 16, 2004 05:12 PMPenna's is booked (just like every other place). I think I have to resort to a Friday night :( They are the only days that the church and halls both have open...
Posted by: Dee at November 17, 2004 07:31 AMI vote for the Elvis ceremony. You could maybe line up Wayne Newton to do the music and have some Vegas showgirls be ushers.
Posted by: haywood at November 17, 2004 09:16 AMYeah, my sister resorted to booking Villa Penna's on Hayes Rd. She had a small reception (250) anyway, so it worked out great. It was still hard to book, but not as bad as the main Penna's.
In my opinion, Villa Penna's is much nicer.
Posted by: Jeff at November 17, 2004 09:58 AMDepending on how many people you will be having, I have some great hall/reception suggestions!
Posted by: Jodi at November 17, 2004 02:03 PMIt's not that I don't know where to look, it's that NO PLACE has openings! It's rough. I think I'm just going to go with a Friday and then I can have lots of choices...
Posted by: Dee at November 17, 2004 02:16 PMWell it's one for the money,
Two for the show,
Dee's gettin married,
I'll do the ceremony for a small amount of dough.
Thank you....Thank you very much.
Elvis
Posted by: haywood at November 18, 2004 10:17 AMDee, Depending on how much Haywood wants, I vote for his idea. But then again Elvis, Wayne Newton and the showgirls would make for some great photo op's.
Now showing: Elvis aka Haywood aka Jim #1
Could be a good deal!
Posted by: Dee at November 18, 2004 11:09 AMAnd it's not like Elvis' Saturdays are too tied up. I'll bet he could probably get you into a nice hall too! I hear he used to have a lot of pull in Vegas.
Posted by: haywood at November 18, 2004 03:51 PMYou relaly saved my skin with this information. Thanks!
