So, I was checking out my "My Documents" folder on my PC today and was pretty dang happy with how organized I've kept it. I'm proud of myself.
What are you proud of today?
Posted by todd at September 27, 2004 10:55 AMI am proud I made it into work today! And in record time with the Lodge closed.
Finally got up at 8:15, debated calling in to sleep longer, went downstairs to feed the dogs, then debated calling in to take Loki to the vet, checked email, updated Fantasy Football line-up, checked chemical levels in the pool, added what it needed, finally found matching clean clothes, and headed out. Wow -- all in under 25 minutes.
I left my house at 8:40 and pulled into the parking lot at 9:10. That's 30 minutes!! It's an hour drive and today was supposed to be the dreaded Dodge the Lodge commute. Apparently everyone dodged I-94 as well, including the Detroit Police. Lucky for me.
I'm here; I'm proud!
Posted by: Jodi at September 27, 2004 11:49 AMI am proud of all of you on the rabbit. I just wish Mike would shave that brillo-pad off of his face. He looks like a scary lumberjack right now.
Posted by: Jeff at September 27, 2004 01:15 PMI'm proud of keeping up with my bills and not running out of money! :)
Posted by: Maria at September 27, 2004 01:48 PMI totally put in some major effort on the Berkley house this weekend. I (with some help from Alex (for a hour or so) totally used an ANGLE Grinder and went to work against the RUST on the iron railing boardering the porch. Then I primed and painted it with some Rustoleum... hopefully the crap works. The railing looks so much better. All under 8 hours too......
Posted by: eric at September 27, 2004 02:19 PMI'm most proud of my kids. Jon, Brian and Kelsey all turned out okay.....in spite of me!
Posted by: haywood at September 27, 2004 02:28 PMI am also proud of the organization magic I performed at an undisclosed location this week. :)
Posted by: Maria at September 27, 2004 02:28 PMI am proud of all of you Brewery Beer drinkers! And a thank you to the Beer Angel. :)
I have to admit I didn't like any of them :( I am glad I made it through dinner because all that wheat made me sick. I'll stick to my Miller Lite.
Ford is having a Wine Festival -- I think I'll pass.
Posted by: Jodi at September 27, 2004 05:18 PMI am proud of my fantasy football team for beating Kevin's team. I know I will start to lose at some point, but it always feels so good when you win (especially against someone like Kevin who does WAY more research than I do)!
Posted by: Dee at September 28, 2004 09:25 AMI am proud of myself for not strangling anyone today! There are several that deserve it.
I proud of being able to control myself after my printer jammed for the umpteenth time today. I'd throw it out the window, but that would probably kill the gerbil inside that powers the printer!
Posted by: haywood at September 28, 2004 12:26 PMI'm proud that the mortgage company is doing an extensive background check on me to see how I could possibly afford to pay less money each month. Oh wait. I'm not proud of that. That's annoying. I'm proud, that at some point, this day will be over.
Posted by: mike at September 28, 2004 02:48 PMI'm proud of the rabbit that rests on Mike's hat.
Posted by: Jeff at September 28, 2004 04:27 PMI'm proud to wear my very own rabbit hat....a one-of-a-kind.
Posted by: haywood at September 28, 2004 05:33 PMWell... one of twenty anyway :)
