Just like any other normal 8am arrival to the office I quickly head through the double glass doors and down the long corridor to the cafateria. You can smell the ham, egg and cheese croissants as soon as you turn the corner. If your not there by 8:30 they are gone and you my friend, will be stuck with the infamous Salt Begal. As I turn the corner I get stuck behind a man, around 40 years old. walking with a limp. I think "Doesn't appear to be an injury but rather a birth defect perhaps.". Being curtious, I figure have a few minutes to spare before all the delicious croissants are taken from their warm and cosy home beneath the heat lamp. I reached down into my pocket to pull out the two dollars and seventeen cents I would need in just 2 short minutes. All the while I continue to keep an eye and a distance from the man who is still skipping along the corridor with papers in hand.
WHAM! I immediatly look up to see the man twirling into a frantic spin that faces him eye to eye with myself. I could only chuckle and smile as his papers flutter to floor. He laughs too as I give the only advice I could at 8:15 in the morning: "Man, you have to watch out for that wall!". As I pass him, he agrees and we both smile, "Two twenty-five", I thought to myself "She will have to give me some change back this morning.".
hehehe - nice story! but dont knock the salt bagel :)
