So, today started out pretty well. Then, at about 9:30, it went bad. Fast. Super Fast. Apparently one teeny tiny line of new code in one of my programs went crazy. Deleted files left and right. Well, the good thing is that it was on a development server, so I'm safe. Also, since it was so early, I'm the only one who changed anything today. So, the files from yesterday are currently being restored. Thank goodness for daily backups!! The restore is probably going to take forever though. It's just not the way I hoped to spend my Friday. TGIF - 5 hours left and counting...maybe less...

Posted by: shane at September 15, 2003 02:44 PMhehehe...no, not quite...it was more like rm -r with a blank for a directory, which basically says rm -r / (not good)
all is better now though :)
