Tube Issue
This summer, I'll be going tubing twice. So, I need the perfect tube to make the 5 hours (or more) on the river be as comfortable as possible. I have narrowed it down to 2 tubes, but now I need your input to help me decide on the best tube. Please keep in mind that the tube models are not included, so do not base your choice on the girl or the guy. Thanks :)
Tube 1:
Pros: looks comfortable, cheaper
Cons: no drink holder
Tube 2:
Pros: drink holder AND cooler that holds 6 cans - sweet!!!
Cons: a little more expensive and maybe not so comfortable
So, any ideas? Do I sacrifice comfort for a cooler? Or, does tube 1 not even look so cozy anymore? I'm so confused...Please help!!
I think tube 2 looks more comfy. I think the support looks sturdier as a one piece.
Plus... a cooler! Are there any more questions?

Posted by: mike at June 5, 2003 09:06 AMI vote for #2 as well. The big back thingy might look more comfortable, but I think you'd have to stretch your arms way behind you to make use of it. Therefore, not comfortable. Go #2.
Anyone know where I can get a job?

Posted by: jen at June 5, 2003 11:36 AMHmmm...looks like tube 2 is the big favorite. I agree with Jen - I think the first tube is more for pools, and the 2nd is for the river. I'll have to do some investigative shopping tonight and see if I can find one nearby :)

FYI: Jami is coming with me on both tubing trips. She already has a tube, but I believe she is leaning towards buying a new one since we found this super cool tube #2 :)
I also say 2. The clear plastic sucks.....the yellow plastic for some reason feels better on the skin.
