a question

If Pringles can manage to deliver almost a whole can of stacked, unbroken chips, why are the bottem few always broken? Is it the crushing pressure applied by the perfect chips above them? I'm not sure if the same problem happens with Torengos. Though, the broken chips do allow you to "drink" them by inverting the can, which might be the coolest way to eat potato chips.

There is space between the lid and the chips. So form shipping and staking on shelves they bottom ones get slammed against the bottom. Poor enginnering by Pringles. They need some sort of air packaging.

OR.......just another thought. Pringles know damnwell that the bottom ones crack and crumble. They find that their customers enjoy tipping the container. It allows those crumbled chips to slide down the can and into their mouth.

Some people add squeeze cheese and beer prior to tipping the can.

1.) Pringles does have air tight packaging. They come like this when you buy the double pack. I am not sure if they sell them anymore.

2.) What about those snack stacks? I am sure you could determine whether it is the weight of the pringles above cracking them by looking at the bottom of a snack stack tube (since there are less pringles)

3.) I like drinking pringles myself. Sometimes I even break them up before I get to the bottom so there are more pringles to drink. Sometimes for fun I smash the whole container up so I can drink them all. (j/k)
