So, the hard peep/soft peep debate has been going on for quite some time. I myself am an advocate of the soft peep. It's just the way nature intended marshmallows to be. Nice and soft and sticky. So, Deana had recently told me of her newfound preference for hard peep. Someone converted her. Coincidently enough, there were two fresh yummy boxes of peeps in the Easter basket she gave me. To my suprise, when I opened the yummy yellow bunny peeps today, they were already of the hard peep variety. This box of yummy purple chicken peeps seems to be even harder. I'm not sure if she is trying to convert me from soft peep to hard peep, or maybe she bought them at a place that only sells hard peeps, but with no apparent damage to the packaging, I suspect fowl play. :)

Posted by: todd at April 28, 2003 02:13 PMLet me just say that by "hard", I mean not super soft. Hard outer layer, soft inner. It's the perfect peep. These ones though, these are overly hard. You almost can't bite them. I don't get it - note for next year: Do not buy Peeps at Walgreens.
